Andrew Middleton BDS

“Andrew qualified in Sheffield in 1980 and has worked in Sheffield Ripon and Blackpool before returning to Sheffield to take up partnership with Simon Lidster at Southey Hill”

Andrew has been involved in the wider dental community and for many years Chaired the Dental Quality Improvement Group, which became the Dental Governance Group.

He is also Chair of PASS (Practitioners Advice and Support Scheme) which provides help and advice to dentists who are struggling to cope with their professional responsibilities due to difficulties with health, addiction, marital, financial problems or Clinical Governance difficulties.

He has a particular interest in advanced restorations such as bridges, crowns and dentures. He recently attended an advanced ‘Gerber’ denture course in Switzerland where he also managed to include some skiing!

Andy supervisors our outreach students, and is part of the team of foundation teachers.

His other hobbies include: fishing, photography and fresh water swimming.
